Elio Pagliarani is an Italian poet who was one of the most important in the Italic literary scene during the second half of the twentieth century. Pagliarani belongs to a line that can be defined as "Lombard" and which originates directly from the XIX century, when the Lombardy region and its capital Milan were very important for the expansion of the enlightenment’s Ideas. Pagliatrni has also invented a new form for poetry, a form that renews classical poetry. That is why he was involved in the Italian New Avant-garde literary movement that was born in 1963.
