THE EXPLICATION OF FORM IN NEO-SYMBOLISM

Abstract
This paper emphasizes the important role of form in the Serbian neo-symbolist poetry. In their essays and interviews the neo-symbolists explained the multiple functions and the semantic potential of the fixed forms present in their poems. In their creative opuses we can observe a balance between explicit and implicit poetics, as they stress the bond between creative impulse and analytical response.
