THE ANTHROPOLOGY OF LITERATURE AND THE DIOSERO DE FRANCISCO ROJAS GONZÁLEZ. AN APPROXIMATION

Abstract
The article outlines a methodological proposal for an analysis of literary texts through anthropological theories and sources. The state of the matter is established and the definition of the most universal aspects of the methodology is proposed. This methodology allows us to consider the anthropology of literature as a way to study not only the cultural contents of the texts, but also to locate the modifications and transformations of the meanings. El Diosero (1952) by Francisco Rojas González will be analyzed as an example of indigenous literature that contains numerous indigenous cultural codes, as well as samples of the author's anthropological thinking. In accordance with the methodological proposal, certain culturemas and ideologems will be sought, and the anthropologist's figure, together with the indigenous protagonists and the animalization process of the latter will be studied briefly.
