Abstract
British-Venetian relations analyzed in this work emphasize the significant part of the historyof the Mediterranean, the existence of which, on new bases, was set by the Utrecht Treaty of 1713.Relations between the two countries were considered from the point of view of productivenss forthe British party. The greatest obstacle was the fact that there was no commercial agreement toprecisely define operating transactions of merchants from this country on the Venetian market.
